	Yes, it will work just fine.  The Elmar C was...is... a nice little
lens, sharp, small, and light.  Another advantage of some of these older
lenses is that they do not have built in shades, so that if you bump the
lens, the shade will break away or take the shock, not the barrel.  The
Elmar C originally came with a rubber collapsible shade which was a nice
unit, as well as with a soft leather pouch which was great for dropping the
lens into a pocket or other accessible place.  I wish I had mine back, but I
now use the "thin' 90 f/2.8, which has many of the same qualities and the
extra speed.
