If you like the frameline selection of an M6, consider the M4-P. It is essentially an M6 without the meter. In the U.S., the M4-P costs about $500 less than an M6 in comparable condition. You can buy a **REALLY** nice hand held meter--not to mention a lens--for that! The M3 is nice, but you'll need either an auxiliary finder or a lens with "eyes" to use a 35mm on it. I love my M3, but then I would be ecstatic doing well over 50% of my photography with 90mm and 135mm lenses. I'm odd in other ways, too. Good luck. As others have said, you can't go wrong whatever decision you make. /*------------------------------------------------------------- ** ** Howard Sanner ** Kirsten Flagstad Discographer ** Ampex Mailing List Founder ** flagstad@sysnet.net ** */
