My LTM lens book is European and US lenses only -- I haven't done the one on Oriental optics yet! And, in any event, Nikon and Canon are adequately covered -- Peter Dechert's book on the Canon RF system was my inspiration. Peter was an inspiration to me in general -- he is a trained historian who writes intelligently about a complex field. (And, yes, I wish I got the sort of support from Leica or Zeiss which he gets from Canon!) The 3.5/135 is a clone of the 4/135 CZJ Sonnar. It was introduced in this form in '52 and survived, I believe, for the entire run of the Canon RF system. It is a fine lens, and capable of outstanding pictures. By the time it was introduced, Canon had figured out the complexities of the "true" LTM mount (39mm by 26 turns per inch), so it should mount and couple perfectly.
