Indeed we should not forget history. However although we are not being
allowed to forget the Jewish holocaust other holocausts are taking place at
this time with hardly a mention.

I find interesting the philosophical dichotomy when it comes to holocausts.
Why the silence about all the others?

Why do we not agonize over the near annihilation of the American Indians,
their subjugation and eventual marginalization. Or the internment of the
Japanese Americans during WW2 and the confiscation of their lands?
Or about the Armenian holocaust at the hands of the Turks.
Or the Cambodian holocaust and the one now taking place, the Yugoslavian
"ethnic cleansing"?

Why do we not talk about these, at least not with the intensity with which
we refer to the Jewish holocaust?
is it because we have no excuse for standing idle while people are being
massacred with impunity? Or is it because the Jewish vote in the USA is very
powerful while there is little representation by the other respective
nationalities?

History is repeating itself over and over but only the Jews are to be
commiserated for their loss.

It is immoral to prosecute and persecute VW, Leica, and other companies
whose present management had nothing to do with actions taken more than a
half century ago. Atrocities are committed by humans not companies.
Lawyers are only part of the problem. Pandering, two-faced politicians share
much of the blame.
