Andreas,
There are two versions of the Elmarit.  The last (current) version is
considered the best.  There are three versions of the Summicron and in
some cases both black and chrome versions of those.  I believe that any
of the Summicrons are fine lenses.  The second and third versions have
the same optical formula and might be better than the first if only
because they have a color transmission that would match later lenses.

If you can find a 90 Summicron in good condition, I think you would be
more than satisfied with it.  They are beautifully made lenses,
especially the first version with removable lens head.
