what do you mean by "doesn't flip up"? Presumably you are referring to 
the filter for the M series.
I have the current Leica Circular Polarizer filter (55mm) for my R stuff, 
reference number 13373. It is a very slim filter, slimer than the B+W, 
which is useful when you use it on a wideangle lens like the Elmarit 28mm.
