Of course, I am sure that many of my postings were deleted by many other Lugers, which I am not the least bit offended by. That's why they make chocolate and vanilla and I happen to like both! The mouse and the delete button are wonderful features of computers, aren't they?>>>> Hi Bob, We have a number of things in common! ;) I too like chocolate and Vanilla ice cream. Leicas for what they do for me in my work and not what they look like, and the delet button is my salvation some days. :) And I don't doubt for one second I've been well deleted on many occaision. But the LUG in whatever context is meant by "advancing photography" does that simply by folks responding to questions or posting them, whether that is "screws in a IIIf or what kind of developer or film to use" No not all the postings are interesting (I can attest to that I post some of them!) and we both appreciate the delete button is only a click away. I have yet to find a finer bunch of folks to speak with and learn from anywhere on the electronic networks. At least here the conversation is civil and not the constant bad mouthing flaming know it all's in some other groups. Many of them with nothing more than the manners of swine. So it is my very humble opinion that this is the Leica place of the world, whether that is to learn more "how to stuff with a Leica" or "how many screws does it take to hold an R8 together?"
