I have been repairing these cameras for 24 years...and don't need lessons on fraudelent merchandise. I have far more integrity than that. Have a nice day! Best regards, Sherry >> Having been thoroughly chastized I most humbly apologize and swear I never intended to impugne your integrity. Not knowing that you did the repair yourself (sorry, I have never heard of you), I only speculated (having mis- read your tenses) that it MIGHT have been done by one of those who claim to be able to service an M-3 without disturbing the L seal, of which I have seen ads. I also know for a fact that people DO fake the L seal (Bald Mountain does if you ask) and it doesn't matter a whit anyway. Anyway, I am sorry, really. Can I send you a copper post card from Utah to make up? charles trentelman aka summicron1/Ogden Utah
