Having been thoroughly chastized I most humbly apologize and swear I never
intended to impugne your integrity. Not knowing that you did the repair
yourself (sorry, I have never heard of you), I only speculated (having mis-
read your tenses) that it MIGHT have been done by one of those who claim to be
able to service an M-3 without disturbing the L seal, of which I have seen
ads. I also know for a fact that people DO fake the L seal (Bald Mountain does
if you ask) and it doesn't matter a whit anyway.

Anyway, I am sorry, really. Can I send you a copper post card from Utah to
make up?
