Subject: [Leica] Weird R8 behavior

This morning while shooting a cover for one of our magazines my R8 did 
something very weird.  The thing halfway through the roll of film locked 
up and started flashing 00 in the frame counter window.  I rewound the 
camera reloaded and it worked fine for the rest of the shoot.  Of course 
it locked up right as the sun reached the exact point I had been waiting 
on it to reach for 30 minutes, Murphy's Law.  

I was shooting with the winder on it using mirror prefire.  I turned the 
mirror prefire off for the rest of the shoot.  The sun was up enough that 
I did not need it any longer.

Anyone else experienced this???
