I'm getting quite excited about it, as I've wanted to go for years. A little while ago, someone made a comment owning the world's premier travel and reportage camera and leaving it home. No kidding, eh?! I debated whether I should risk it, but have more or less decided that it's foolish to have spent such mullah and be afraid to use the darn thing anywhere! Besides, given to reputed nature of such a trip, compactness and robustness are the order of the day. That means I'm really gonna concenrate on forcing myself to work within the confines of just the M3, a 50 collapsible Summicron, and -- hopefully -- a 90. Of course, I am highly tempted toward bringing my Rollei Automat along for good measure, but it would probably mean it'd be left in the room or in the bag. THe Leica stuff can be stuffed in some big pockets if necessary. ANyway, I'm off! Happy shooting all! Scott
