I, once again, must take exception to B.D. Colen's
statements regarding dentists and their alleged propensity for Leicas and
other high-tech gadgets. I neither made misstatements nor exaggerated in
any what was said. I believe he totally missed the point of my original
post to the LUG digest.

1. No one has any right to denigrate a person's profession, race or
creed, or in this case, based on their ability or inability to afford and
properly use a Leica. I'm sure if we substituted an ethnic group for
"dentists" we would have seen a firestorm of complaints. And
who even cares if someone buys a Leica and hasn't the faintest idea how
to use it? That is their right.

2. I didn't realize the LUG was an exclusive country club which only
granted membership to the elite few who the Almighty has determined have
the divine gifts to properly use a Leica. Too much time is spent on
testosterone-induced diatribes over whose Telyt is bigger than the next
guy's Telyt. Grow UP!.
