Eddie,

Attach the polarizer to the lens and swing it open 180 degrees.  Loosen
the polarizer slightly and rotate it so that the polarizer is in front
of the left hand window of the viewfinder (viewed from the back) when it
is swung out completely.

Tighten the polarizer clamp.  Look through the viewfinder and rotate the
polarizer until you observe the effect you are after.

Do not rotate the polarizer after you have observed the effect you are
after, just swing it closed and then compose, focus and meter as you
would normally do.

The results should be correctly exposed and focused.
