Subject: [Leica] Don't be shy (was wedding newbie)

Some of you will be relieved to know that from the onset, I had intended
to be an unobtrusive recorder of this personal event taking place.
Whatever happens during those 3-4 hours (gawd, i hope not any longer
than that) I'll do my best to get some great photos (as opposed to some
beauty contest photos). Not even the bride-to-be knows this is being
planned. She'll thank me later when I get some great moments down --
free of charge too!

B&W it shall be. Tmax400 rated at 800 it shall be. And I'll have a few
3200s as back up. I'm gonna stay cool, live dangerously and snap as much
as I can. KISS! How else can I learn?!?! Nothing gained from nothing
ventured!

Truly appreciate all the advice, and humorous comments on the subject
from Ted, Duane, Arturo and Alan.

Thanks Ted, for putting my head straight on the realities of lighting
indoors! What was i thinking? ;-) ;-) Will certainly apply the Grant
principles for this project. Now how many of these do I need to do
before i'm a veteran?

Duane, not to worry. I'll still have hair left after this is over. In
case I give up, i'm bringing the latest HCB Photo mag or a Walker Evans
portfolio book to calm my nerves in the bathroom.
