A pilot is okay for reading email, but is a major pain for anything more than one line emails. The handwriting recognition itself is good, but it is tedious. I use a HP 620lx (handheld, color display). It is more expensive, but even a halfway decent touch-typer can work faster with two fingers on a miniature keyboard than with a pen on a little slippery screen. Plus, the standard VGA width screen of the Pilot's larger competitors is better for reading email and web browsing. - ----Original Message----- >From: Carl Socolow <csocolow@microserve.net> >Is anybody using a Palmpilot or similar palmtop for sending and >receiving email during their travels?
