I tried Agfa 25 APX first, but not enough contrast. Now I just souped some Kodak Ektagraphic HC, using my standard AB55 developer. The most "overexposed" of my five bracket shots is almost right - am hoping that another stop or two will bring on the blacks better. I'm using a Honeywell Repronar and the Pentax copy lens seems to capture the sharpness of the Leica original very well. I have made copies of BW prints to slide film before, but am hoping this time to preserve some of the tonal scale by omitting the intermediate print, going directly from neg to positive slide. Anyone have experience with BW slides from negs? Favorite film? Developer? I think this could be a great way to show some of that Leica "glow" on the big screen in black and white. But you sure need little fingers for the dodging and burning. With the Repronar flash unit, you have to be quick, too! Gary
