I read somewhere ... over a year ago ... do not remember where ... that
these were assembled from left over parts ... found when Leica moved ?
... enough spare parts to build a series of cameras ... perhaps someone
with a better memory can locate the article and/or connect the year 1994
with the event ... [just vaguely remembering], dp
