Hi Paul,

I edit from contacts and I'm ruthless on the first cut. Those I like
immediately are considered for printing and redline framed with "a Sharpie
felt tip pen"

Any that I see that are completely out of it are black lined right over the
contct.. This saves time on the second go around edit of bothering with
what you know for sure is the crap stuff. :) ( sorry some of us still do
that crap stuff even after 45 years!) :)

Then I take a second look at only the red-lined images and if they make it
on this edit, I go right to 11X14's or full frame on a sheet of 11X14
paper.

No other printing in between.

Just remember one thing, "If in doubt? OUT!" And don't bother printing.
Saves alot of time. Particularly if you are going back and forth over three
or four frames and a lot of hemming and hawing is going on! That means you
really are trying to find something that isn't there! What's worse? "You
know you really missed the real moment!" :) And no amount of trying to find
it on the contact it "ain't gonna be there buddy!" :)

Hope this helps as you have to eliminate the inbetween to final printing!!

Besides even when you have selected from contacts and you think it's the
greatest, when you make a full frame on 11X14 you find out it's, "so what
the hell did I pick that for?" re-action. :)
