Jeff,

Reinhold can modify the M3 lens release and winder couplings in the M4. He
is very reliable and an excellent craftman. I am from Singapore and have
no problem getting my Ms CLA. I use FEDEX - it takes a day
there(surprisingly) and 3 days back. Don't send it by ordinary post
because FEDEX handles the notorious customs. Just declare it as
"Photographic gears for servicing". No hassle so far.

Do a CLA and you will be surprised at the brightness of your viewfinder.
I just did my beloved M3 and its absolutely fabulous. I am going to send
my M4 in soon for the winder coupling so I can use the rapidwinder.

In Asia, I wouldn't even recommend the Leica Authorised Repair - I want
Leica to
listen. "The distributor service over here is terrible".

Best Regards,

Lee Yan Zhan
