Dennis,

Check the Service Dept. at Leica on this.  I also believe Osterloh had
something about this in the Leica M Manual.  (By the way, a new revised
version in English is coming! Yeah!).  Adding a +1.0 Leica diopter should
yield an overall correction of +.5.
