The 28mm F2.8 Serinar was one of a series of lenses Canon made for its Leica
screw mount cmaeras. It is a Guass type lens with 4 components and 6 elements,
of symmetrical design. It uses two newer types of glass in its construction to
minimize coma and color abberations. It is reputed to be one of the better
lenses in a very good line. Give it a try after you get the shutter fixed. -
