In one case in southern Oregon I happened to leave the trunk on our car wide open at a motel. I also left a pair of Zeiss binoculars laying right in the middle of the trunk. When I went out in the morning to find my trunk lid open, I nearly had a heart attack. However, there were my Zeiss glasses in their beautiful hard leather case untouched despite what must have been an opportunity for many people to simply pick them up and walk away. Bud
