Ted,
Great advice. St. Petersburg is the most western of the "Soviet" cities. I
never had a problem with customs. They have a "job" and if you don't upset
their system you move right thru. My favorite city in the old USSR is Kiev.
Muscovites were nice, but, they have experienced the greatest change. I
could not resist buying several Russian cameras at the old hard currency
stores. Fabian will have a great trip.
In my past life I was a tour director.
