Bob,
Nice to hear that I'm not the only one who cajoles other lenses onto the   
sacred Leica bodies!
I know it defeats the object of getting into the Leica system according   
to some fellow Luggers but it's a way of finding out whether you really   
do want to save up for the real Leica lens, or whether the use is so   
minimal there's little point.

I have one also. It ws designed for a medium format camera and is rather
large. However it produces very goog images with the small 35mm format. I
converted it years ago by epoxying an R adapther onto it. It does not   
match my
189,3.4 but it is very good.
