Ralph Gibson used this lens at minimum focus for a series of pictures he
took, including 'portraits', as such photos of people are when taken by
Ralph Gibson.
I believe it offers a life size image when printed to 12x16 or 20x16 (I
forget which) and that was the point of his quest, to find the pictures
at minimum focus and thereby present a life size view of the world in
exhibition.
Sorry I don't know if any exist on-line...

Are there any on-line pictures available showing how close you can get
with the near-focus 50mm lens? B&W or colour doesn't matter, although
I'd prefer B&W. I'd especially like to see portraits taken with this
arrangement.
