You focus as always, through the rangefinder.  The distance from the
lens mounting flange to film plane on the M cameras 1mm less than on the
LTM cameras.

Rangefinder camming is the same for both, thus when the adapter is
threaded onto your LTM lens it simply 'attaches a bayonet' and sets the
proper lens to film plane distance.

There are 3 different adapters, each one brings up a different set of
framelines in the finder.  If you send the codeword I can advise which
one you are looking at.
