At full aperture, the resolution is "weak".The vignetting is high : 1.5 d and the distortion very high :1.1%. At medium aperture (5.6) the lens is quoted "very good" only, which is inferior to the Summicron quoted "excellent". Now the objective evaluation must be completed by a subjective one. If you want to shoot without a flash in the dark the NocTlux is the best choice for you. The weak resolution, the high vignetting and the very high distortion are minor facts. The essential is the good correction of the coma. Dominique
