Hi, Bruce:

I'm sorry I'm late answering your question, but I was in Charleston! The
LHSA shoot was there this week-end and it was wonderful. Charleston is my
favorite city in the USA and one of my favorite cities in the world. Every
time I visit there, I want to buy a house and move there. I still may do
it some day. If you are moving from anywhere except the South, you will
probably have a decrease in living costs. Restaurants are fantastic - lots
of fresh seafood. The city is very diverse ethnically and is a college
town with the College of Charleston - one of the state colleges of South
Carolina - right in the middle of town. Charleston is a walking city. We
have stayed in bed and breakfasts in the heart of Charleston and not even
gotten in our car for a week. There is a lot of support for the arts. An
annual arts festival - Spoleto - attracts people from all over the world.
Have I sold you yet? Go for a visit and you won't regret it! Let me know
if I can answer any questions or help in any way. I envy your possible
move! Good luck - TIna
