Mike,

First, thank you for your input on much of what we've discussed
recently. I certainly helps add some perspective. I should add that my
photo from the chest of the three-card-monte players in a Paris flea
market did not win me any friends. It's amazing how universal a fist
raised in your face is or having someone tell you in a language not
native to your own (while pointing to his fly) that this is what you can
photograph. Oh well. Thought it would make a good photo.

Second, you missed the earlier debate on Gary Winogrand and photography
sans viewfinder. Don't let Ted hear you talk that way or you're liable
to get an earful before you sign off. Good luck with your projects and
looking forward to your book list.
