Isn't the point that no metering is "accurate"?

It depends on:

a) the lighting conditions.

b) the subject

c) the effect which you wish to achieve.

d) the characteristics of the film in your camera.

That said, incident metering will give you 'accurate' technical exposure in
99% of cases - particularly for chromes. The other 1% you have to adjust
yourself. Personally I'd be delighted if 99% of my exposures were accurate,
but then I'm lazy and don't use my Weston V (with Invercone) every time.

Mind you I'm getting pretty good at judging 72 different shades of green
when calculating exposure TTL....
