Subject: [Leica] A Chatterton story

It's been over a week since I asked here for some apology, explanation or action on the
part of Don Chatterton in regards to my CL purchase. It is obvious that he has no
intention of defending his actions or dealing with my concerns in any way approaching
even the lower end standards of customer service.

I realise that many on the LUG recommend Chatterton as a fair dealer and while I think
that ignoring my experience is obtuse, I would like to offer this; In my case, Don
seriously misgraded an item I bought (and had no interest in 'making good' on the
problem, in the way I've come to expect from better dealers like Tamarkin or Photo
Habitat would). Should you recommend Don to a newbie, at the very least, warn them
to get a *full* condition report on the item/items ordered.
