It's the only tele converter on the market for the Leica M and SM cameras. It would be interesting to know what the actual specs are. Maybe someone can share them. As for the trade offs, it could be of interest to some SM users who own a universal finder. On the other hand, it doesn't seem practical for many reasons to combine it with a Leica M lens (coupling, frame lines,...) but regardless - an interesting item for a colector. In the past Cambron have sold some great items under their brand name: the rapid winder (Tom's version?) another that comes to mind is the Cambron ballhead (now the Saunders Delux ballhead).
