I've been considering a purchase of the new 35 mm focal length f1.4
aspherical lense.  Does anyone have experience with the lense?  The price
(for me anyway) is quite high, about $2700.  I know as shop where I can have
a look at one.  Any suggestions on how to make use of this in evaluating the
lense?

I'm sure they're not going to let me take it out and use it, right?  Perhaps
one of you fine chaps can tell me if you think the quality and results
obtainable with this lense, justify it's high cost.  Also what kind of
investment would this be down the road?
