Yes, indeed, my M6 does the same annoying thing:  the flash will fire if you press the shutter release before it is wound.  I lost a few flash pictures that way --- I thought I had taken a picture.  Of course, after the flash the shutter will wind, thereby "confirming" that a picture was taken!  Ha!  

Also, at times the flash will fire WHILE WINDING.  

Here is the Fix !!!!!!!
Buy an R4sP if you must use flash.

That is what I did.  Let's face it, the M series is not made for flash, and it reminds you of that fact whenever you try.
