Many of the posts even on different sides of the fence make sense. However, I must agree with Bud Cook. Unless I'm kidding myself my whole family can pick out pictures taken with my Leica M or R system over my Canon EOS and certainly over P&S cameras. The kids, when they were younger , would ask that I use the Leica for their Prom pictures! I do wonder if psychological expectations ( I bought the best therefore the pictures are the best) may partly override reality. Food for thought. Paul T. Collura
