Took three months to get a 21mm Aspheric for my M6, 3 months to get a 35-70 and an 80-200 zoom for my R8 and I still haven't received a motor drive for the R8. Just doesn't make sense that they would introduce a new product(R8) and show the accessories in their catalog at intoduction date and a year-and-a-half later still not be able to supply product. I have the Leica-M grip and enjoy using it. Good luck. If you have problem getting it from your dealer please let me know and I will see if I can help you out.
