Subject: [Leica] Shooting the Lone Cypress

Well said Jim.

Actually, I have a 16 x 20 of the Lone Cypress on my wall at home
in color, and an 8 x 10 in B&W over my desk at work.

I had someone print the 16 x 20 for me, and he made me sign a
statement that I was not going to sell it! He was afraid of you know who.

Each year we in fact use this as a case discussion in class. With
your permission I am going to copy (egads!) your message and
give it to the students. Let's see what they come up with.

I was of course there when I took the images, but my memory fails me. Could you tell me whether the tree is on private land?
What about the vantage point?

You have certainly sparked my interest. I think I will have to check the law reviews and see what has been written on this,
and on the Rock & Roll case.

Stay turned.

Robert
