Pete ,

If there was thumb wrestling in the Olympics, I'd win it thumbs up! :)
And not even use steroids.

<<<I am out here on the West Coast - you know, "sunny" California.>>>>>>

Pete, I'm just up the coast from you on Vanvcouver Island in Victoria! Been
watching the TV and you guys sure are getting hammered down there with the
El Nino and we're getting the positive spin off with very mild and sunny
weather, some rain but not as much as we expected.

The flowers and shrubs etc. are about three weeks ahead of season in
blooming and growth, so we're doing alright. great to get a good Leica
start on the scenics. And not the scenic mudslides!

<<<In 20 minutes, her car had water up to nearly the floor boards - and the
creek, which was in its banks when she got there - is 100 yards away and
down slope! Flash floods are soooooo fun. Horses, car, wife and ranch cat
all doing fine.>>>>>>>

Good news is, family is all OK and that's what counts in the end. Given
there has been much loss of life down your way it's good to know your wife
and critters are OK!
