But now, the're not any more. Even the R8 is not novative : mattrix metering : Nikon FA, 1983! integrated flashmeter : Contax RTS III : 1988 TTL flash : Olympus OM2, 1976! Full speed motor drive...joke... Maybe the M7 will be anything but what you are guessing it will be. If leitz wants to be "a step forward", the M7 is going to be a digital rangefinder camera with high capacity and small size removable hardisks that will allow 36 exposures of high definition frames... This would be really original, much more at least that to put the FM2 shutter in an M6 camera, which would give (nearly) nothing more except noise... Thib.
