Subject: [Leica] R8 as descendant of SL/SL2
From: Alex Hurst <corkflor@iol.ie>

Hi LUGnuts. Those of you who are also R8 freaks (with winder, of course)
could do well to point your browsers at an interesting article just posted
at the Williams of Hove site:

http://www.mistral.co.uk/leica/brd12c.htm

This expands on my view that the R8 is the direct descendant of the early
Leicaflexes, and also has some interesting things to say about changing
business priorities at Leitz.

Happy reading.

Slan
