Subject: [Leica] 35 M Summilux or Summicron?

I have found a good deal on a late model s/n 3,500xxx 35 1.4 Summilux for the
M series.  My question is, how does it compare to the 35 2 Summicron?  I can't
afford ASPHat this point, so these older used pieces are my only choices.

I have heard that the Summilux was soft at the edges and was not received
well.  Also it uses those darn S7 filters.
