Don't make it so complicated.

One M-6 with one 35mm ASPH for each of you.

Lots and lots of film	(Fuji G 800 )

and lots of imagination.

By the time you get through your equipment list - they will be back from
the honeymoon.
 
Since you will be the "side photographers" get the "side images", that is
where the best and most memorable images will be anyway.
