A year ago, I bought a black paint SL with 35/2.8, 50/2.0 and 90/2.8 along with Elpro closeup lens and a Vivitar 285 flash. It was a private deal for $950 (US) and everything had a fair amount of wear, but no dents, and the glass was perfect. Your 180 is more valuable than my 90/2.8, so I think your deal sounds pretty fair.
