Let's see - - if they *really* wanted to go all-out, they could mount the glass in forged platinum barrels, use 18k gold for the apature and DOF markings, and use a small ruby for the mounting index mark. Then, the whole thing could be shipped in an ebony presentation case, lined with silk moire, and with sterling silver hinges and fasteners.
