there are two possible reasons why one screen may be brighter than 
another. One being a very undesirable trade-off between brightness 
and ability to judge focus on the screen. The other - of course - can 
be called progress and Leica or others may be some steps ahead.
What would you say, having seen both versions of the screen, can you 
still judge focus (without using the focussing aids of course) 
equally well *on the screen* after having it brigthened?
