Thanks for opinions on 28 mm lenses. I checked out a $400 M-Rokkor today,
and my (honest and friendly) dealer that I do most of my business with,
showed me a common problem with the 28/2,8 M-Rokkors: Holding the lens
against a light, you could see lots of small black dots inside the lens
glass. The dealer said that fungus(?!) was a problem with 60-70% of the
M-Rokkors.
So, I passed on that one. But I wonder why some lenses have these problems.
Are they not tight, or too tight, or what?!?
