I live in the Chicago area and need a recommendation for a repair shop. I have an M-2R that I have using since I bought it in the early 70's. It's always worked perfectly-untold rolls of film and never any problems. After 25 years, I think it could use a CLA. All the ads in the phone book say they work on Leicas. Surely some are better than others. Can anybody out there help me? Thanks for any assistance you can give me. I received a 90mm Elmarit yesterday from Don Chatterton. I shot a couple rolls of Tri-x and made a few work prints. This is a NICE lens-sharp with good contrast and renders a beautiful tonal range. I guess this is enough for today, the kids are calling.
