Neubauer 1997) [460 pages; 10.75" x 12.75" x 1.75"]. My local book store, Border's [telephone:(703) 998-0404], has it on sale for $29.98 plus VA sales tax of 4.5% ($31.33). This seems like a very reasonable price. Fred Ward has the cover photograph on the jacket, so he should be able to confirm whether or not this is a good price for the book. I saw five or more copies. U.S. Mail book rate should be around $3.00 to $4.00 (guess estimate), or two day U.S. Mail (great shipping boxes free, and my preference) $5.00 to $6.00. If any five LUGGERS (in the U.S. only) want me to pick up a copy of "Black Star" at this price and mail it to them, send me an E-mail before Saturday, January 3, 1998, with your address and an expression of your willingness to send me a check for the book and its shipping. I will stop and pick up the book(s) and confirm its purchase by E-mail. The regional U.S. Postal Service Station is about 10 minutes away (open Sunday), so I should be able to mail the book by U.S. Two Day Mail this weekend. Bill Caldwell sneeker@erols.com
