I sold my ELMARIT 135/2,8 (mint) and my M4P chrome 50th (new boxed) and I bought a mint++ Noctilux and a Summilux 75/1,4 new (I'm crazy I know) When I've seen the slides about them I've formatted my "photo mind" and I've said: "today for me is is year n=C2=B0 ZERO of my personal photo history, Only now I can understand the true mith of leica lenses only now I begin to learn......" Took it to lunch with a bunch of women (I was |the token male) and while eating saw this 18 month old boy look over the |partition at a lady eating. Was so cute I had to shoot it (and it's running |in the paper tomorrow). Shot wide open with Kodak Ektapress 400. Probably |1.4 at 1/250 sec. When I scanned the picture in I was amazed. The tonal |modulation was gorgeous. The neon lights in the background glowed. The |colors were saturated. This is truly a Leica lens with the "glow" and |"character" that people talk about. | |I already love it and plan to put it to good use! |=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D | |Eric Welch |St. Joseph, MO |http://www.ponyexpress.net/~ewelch | |If there's one thing I can't stand, it's intolerance. |
