Yes, you don't always want to have such a bazooka on you camera. d:)

80/1,4 =3D great for portrait and OK for travel.

100/2,8 =3D great for travel and macro, not good for portrait, to sharp :=

Totally different use.

Yes, I use the 100/2,8 and I miss my 80/1,4. I will buy a new one ASAP.
