Unfortunately the inscripts "brief" and "time" are as reliable as source
as the distance symbols of an "Agfa Optima".

Recent research revealed, that B stands for "ball". The German word is 
"Ball" (same meaning), which might explain B and Z (Zeit = time) 
more reasonable as abriviation than "brief" and "Zeit" (although I have
a sourve for "beliebig" = "any time" also).
